Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting will support the accounting of complex alternative fund structures, including private debt, real estate, and private equity vehicles. You will be responsible for a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring accurate reporting and timely delivery of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accounting books and reporting deadlines for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Process, reconcile, and review all fund transactions accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare, review, and validate financial statements and NAV calculations.
• Guide junior team members in daily operational tasks and account preparation.
• Collaborate with clients, auditors, and external parties to ensure smooth reporting cycles.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the financial or alternative fund industry.
• Strong knowledge of alternative fund structures and asset classes such as real estate, private equity, and private debt.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles for private debt funds, private equity, real estate, holding companies, and SPVs.
• Additional qualifications such as CFA or ACCA are a plus.
