Analyst – Same Day Topology (Long Term Planning)

About the role

Join Amazon’s Long Term Planning Operations team as an Analyst focused on Same Day Topology. You will use data‑driven insights to shape transportation and inventory strategies that accelerate same‑day deliveries across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Steer long‑term transportation and inventory planning to improve speed, cost and sustainability.
• Collaborate with partner teams to build and prioritize a roadmap of projects that accelerate deliveries.
• Launch pilots for complex opportunities, develop scale‑up business cases, and identify bottlenecks, risks and required resources.
• Create analytics tools to surface defects and actionable insights across the end‑to‑end supply chain.
• Lead regular business reviews, consolidate progress, and provide data‑driven status updates to senior leadership.
• Deep‑dive into complex data sets to uncover known and unknown problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Business or a related field.
• Experience in an analytical role with strong project‑leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional partners and synthesize complex issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
