Accounting Treasury Manager

About the role

We are a regulated digital asset and financial services company seeking an experienced Accounting & Treasury Manager to join our European finance team in Luxembourg. The role sits at the intersection of finance, regulation, and blockchain technology, offering the chance to shape financial processes in a fast‑growing international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance function and accounting operations.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, accounts payable, revenue accounting and financial controls.
• Manage treasury activities, including bank reconciliation and cash management.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors, compliance and operations teams.
• Ensure regulatory and financial reporting compliance.
• Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience in regulated financial services.
• Strong understanding of accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Experience with treasury and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP (IFRS/US GAAP a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
• Fluent in English; Japanese communication skills required.
• Preferred background in banking, payments, fintech or crypto; exposure to multinational or Japanese corporate environments.
