Accounting Manager – SPV & Securitization Expertise

About the role

AVEGA is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team responsible for securitisation vehicles and special purpose vehicles (SPVs). You will ensure accurate financial reporting in line with LuxGAAP and IFRS while supporting the firm’s cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the accounting team(s) for securitisation vehicles.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and consolidations for SPVs under LuxGAAP and IFRS.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure reliable reporting.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for SPVs.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes for efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team leads and members.

Required profile

• 8+ years of accounting or audit experience in Luxembourg, preferably with securitisation structures.
• Strong knowledge of LuxGAAP, IFRS and financial reporting practices.
• Expertise in preparing consolidated accounts using Excel.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional European language is a plus.
