Accounting Manager – Real Estate & Fund Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a small accounting team within our global Investor Services group. The role combines team leadership, technical accounting, tax compliance, and client liaison for real‑estate and fund investments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a small accounting team, manage HR tasks (evaluations, time tracking, KPIs) and deliver technical and process training.
• Review client bookkeeping, prepare annual financial statements, manage closing processes, and handle CIT/VAT returns, tax provisions, and BCL/FATCA reporting.
• Maintain daily communication with fund managers, asset managers, auditors, tax advisors, legal teams, and banks.
• Analyze reporting and tax structures for new client investments, hold directorship mandates, and attend board meetings.
• Collaborate with internal Tax, Corporate Secretarial, and GCD departments to ensure strict compliance with internal procedures and service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) in Accountancy or Business Administration.
• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, with significant exposure to real‑estate accounting.
• Strong technical accounting skills in Luxembourg GAAP; knowledge of IFRS and other GAAPs (German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish) is an asset.
• Fluent English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Yardi, BOB or Demasy accounting systems.
• Expertise in Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
