Accounting Apprentice – Start September 2026

About the role

BDO Luxembourg is seeking an Accounting Apprentice to join its finance team starting in September 2026. This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience in a multinational professional services environment while supporting the preparation of financial statements and tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist accountants in the preparation of general accounting from A to Z and in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns and VAT declarations.
• Deliver high‑quality service and build trustworthy client relationships.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Looking for a 1‑ or 2‑year apprenticeship.
• Proactive, rigorous, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
• Fluent in French and English; Luxembourgish or German is an asset.
• Previous experience as an accounting trainee is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially advanced Excel formulas.
