Accountant – Private Equity & Real Estate (Luxembourg)

About the role

Join an international investment firm operating in private equity and real estate. Based in Luxembourg, you will work within a close‑knit finance team that values autonomy, open communication, and continuous technical development.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing by preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting financial reporting.
• Record, reconcile and monitor intercompany transactions, ensuring consistency across the group.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other indirect tax filings, liaising with external advisors and Luxembourg tax authorities.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls, gradually taking ownership of more complex matters.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects such as financial analysis, process optimisation and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting or external audit experience in Luxembourg, preferably within a fiduciary, asset‑management, audit or corporate‑service environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Familiarity with SPVs, holding companies, private‑equity or real‑estate investment structures is a strong plus.
• Fluent English and comfortable working in a multicultural, international setting.
