Accountant – In‑House (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for an in‑house Accountant to join a close‑knit, international asset‑management team in Luxembourg. You will work in a human‑sized office of about twenty employees, supporting the finance function while benefiting from a transparent, collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, annual closings and regular reporting.
• Handle intercompany accounting transactions in close collaboration with internal departments.
• Review VAT returns and coordinate with tax authorities or external partners when required.
• Gradually take ownership of more technical and complex accounting tasks as experience grows.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and compliance with internal processes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in accounting or audit within Luxembourg, preferably in a fiduciary, asset‑management firm, Big Four or similar financial service provider.
• Exposure to SPVs or real‑estate investment structures is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English and comfortable with German.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented and eager to develop technical accounting knowledge.
