Account Manager – Captive Management

About the role

Aon Insurance Managers is seeking a German‑speaking Account Manager to join its Captive Management team in Luxembourg. The role involves managing a portfolio of captive insurance clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high‑quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and manage day‑to‑day operations.
• Lead all aspects of clients’ financial reporting, meeting strict deadlines.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and coordinate statutory audits.
• Prepare and present materials for client board meetings, including minutes.
• Prepare tax and VAT returns and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Liaise with senior executives of global corporations, insurance supervisors, auditors, actuaries, and investment managers.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and strong numerical abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant industry experience, preferably in (re)insurance.
• Fluency in German, English, and French.
• Organised, able to multi‑task and prioritize effectively.
• Detail‑oriented with a collaborative mindset in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
