Trainee/Junior Corporate Accountant

About the role

The Trainee/Junior Corporate Accountant will support internal and group accounting activities and reporting within the Operations department. This position offers a practical introduction to Luxembourg accounting standards and corporate finance processes in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily accounting entries and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Process various payments and assist in issuing client invoices.
• Help prepare statutory accounts in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP.
• Maintain and update the client database.
• Assist in preparing Luxembourg statutory reporting, VAT, and tax returns.
• Support statutory filings with the RCS and regulatory reporting to the CSSF.
• Ensure internal electronic and paper files are regularly organised.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a related field.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive, result‑oriented team player with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits/credits and general ledger structure.
