Senior Loan Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Loan Accountant to manage the accounting for loan and financing activities linked to a property portfolio. The role operates independently within a dynamic team, requiring precision and deep expertise in real‑estate, debt and financing accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for the financing entity, focusing on loan accounting (including shareholder loans) and property‑related financing.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Luxembourg GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor debt covenants, calculate interest, and track repayment schedules.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, legal teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports and ad‑hoc analyses for decision‑making.
• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all financing transactions.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4‑5 years of accounting experience in Luxembourg, preferably within real‑estate investment, services, or a Big 4 environment.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards and regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
