Finance & Reporting Manager – Luxembourg

About the role

Paytm is seeking a Finance & Reporting Manager to support the CFO in building and managing the core finance function for its European operations. Based in Luxembourg, the role will oversee accounting, regulatory reporting, tax, treasury and management information in a fast‑growing, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle – general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, accruals, provisions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial statements under Lux GAAP and, where required, IFRS.
• Coordinate statutory and prudential reporting to the CSSF and other authorities, including own‑funds returns.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, controls and segregation of duties appropriate for a regulated payment institution.
• Act as primary finance contact for external auditors and coordinate statutory and internal audit activities.
• Oversee corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax compliance and liaise with external tax advisers.
• Manage banking relationships, cash‑flow forecasting and liquidity management, supporting treasury decisions.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models and monthly management reports for senior leadership and the Board.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, and support ERP and accounting system selection.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Internal Controls and Group Finance to ensure regulatory responsibilities are met.
