Senior Account Executive

About the role

Helical is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business across leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. This strategic enterprise sales role focuses on landing new logos, managing complex sales cycles, and building long‑term, multi‑program partnerships for our AI‑native biology platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Land new logos across pharma and biotech.
• Build and manage a strategic enterprise pipeline.
• Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Engage with scientific, technical, procurement, and executive buyers.
• Translate Helical’s AI‑native biology platform into clear customer value.
• Partner with founders, product, science, and customer teams.
• Help refine sales messaging, qualification, and go‑to‑market playbooks.
• Represent Helical at industry events and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise sales experience as an AE or Senior AE.
• Track record of closing complex B2B deals.
• Experience selling into pharma, biotech, life sciences, AI, data, or scientific software markets.
• Strong new‑business/hunter mentality.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical and scientific stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, qualification, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment.
• Interest in how AI is transforming drug discovery and biological research.
