Portfolio Controller – Private Equity (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for a Portfolio Controller to join an independent, internationally active investment management firm based in Luxembourg. The role supports fund accounting, financial reporting and investor communication for multi‑billion‑euro private‑equity and infrastructure portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and LuxGAAP.
• Assist with NAV calculations, fund reconciliations, capital calls and distributions.
• Track and validate financial performance of portfolio companies.
• Produce investor reporting packages, capital account statements and performance summaries.
• Support transaction execution, including capital calls, drawdowns and distribution workflows.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians and auditors.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, templates and reporting tools.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in fund administration or a Big Four audit environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes under LuxGAAP and IFRS.
• Good knowledge of private‑equity or alternative‑investment structures.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and contribute in a small team.
