IT Junior Support Analyst

About the role

Citco is seeking a motivated IT Junior Support Analyst to join its global Customer Support team. You will be the first point of contact for software and hardware incidents, providing timely resolutions and ensuring a high level of service for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, telecom and enterprise application incidents.
• Coordinate and implement scheduled changes, including operating system updates.
• Take ownership of tickets, perform incident analysis, and apply temporary or permanent fixes.
• Escalate complex issues to senior support teams when necessary.
• Record and update all incidents and requests in the Service Desk ticketing system.
• Create, maintain and publish support documentation to promote user self‑service.
• Verify and keep IT Asset Management records current.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly IT health checks for the local office.
• Provide on‑site and remote support for other locations as required.
• Report regularly to Business and IT Management on issues, progress and upcoming upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or final‑year student.
• Understanding of ITIL and Change Management processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
