HR Business Partner – Employee Lifecycle & Labor Law Expert

About the role

We are a family‑owned Luxembourgish company operating in the fast‑moving consumer goods sector, focusing on tobacco, vaping, CBD and other nicotine products. To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to manage the complete employee lifecycle and provide strategic labour‑law guidance to line managers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor time, attendance, absences, overtime and shift allowances.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, contract management, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Maintain relationships with staffing agencies.
• Act as trusted advisor on labour‑law questions and people‑management issues.
• Prepare and analyse HR data (turnover, absenteeism) and propose improvement plans.
• Define training plans with line managers and organise training courses.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a demanding or industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg labour law.
• Problem‑solving mindset and high sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in French and German; English is an asset.
