Senior HR Co-ordinator (Parental Leave Cover)

About the role

UNIQLO is seeking a Senior HR Co‑ordinator to provide 13‑month parental‑leave cover for its Luxembourg store. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work closely with store management and the wider UNIQLO EU HR community to deliver a consistent, high‑quality employee experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and off‑boarding – ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain confidential employee records in line with GDPR requirements.
• Oversee weekly timesheets, support payroll processing and collaborate with external providers to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment with Store Managers, including screening, interviews, offers, and contract preparation.
• Deliver engaging inductions and training for new starters.
• Monitor staffing levels, schedules, attendance, and holidays to support store operations.
• Assist Store Managers with workforce planning and employee development.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on payroll, contracts, holidays, and HR topics.
• Provide guidance on day‑to‑day employee relations matters.
• Analyse HR data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain internal communications, back‑office organization, and compliance.
• Support shop‑floor and customer‑service activities as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR generalist or administrative role within a retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee‑relations handling, and payroll processes.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time‑management skills.
• Effective communicator comfortable working across multiple levels and stores.
• Discreet, approachable, and trusted with confidential information.
• Can‑do attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
