Fund Tax Consultant

About the role

Taleo Consulting is seeking a Fund Tax Consultant to join its Luxembourg office. You will support investment funds by managing tax data, ensuring compliance with FATCA and CRS, and coordinating with depositaries and tax advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain fund tax data on the IRS portal, including FATCA GIIN management.
• Prepare and file tax forms such as W8‑BEN‑E, Allegato, Self Declaration, CRS Self‑Certification, RPPM, Modelo, and others.
• Adjust tax documentation following fund renamings, address changes, migrations, and contact updates.
• Maintain tracking files for tax documents and reconcile tax data across the fund portfolio.
• Collect and consolidate fund information, prospectuses, GIIN, and TIN references.
• Coordinate timely transmission of documentation to depositaries and tax advisors.
• Analyze tax implications of fund mergers and migrations.
• Perform reconciliation of tax reclaim files and support withholding tax processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of investment funds and their tax environment.
• Solid experience in custody and withholding tax processes (relief at source and tax reclaim).
• Familiarity with FATCA and CRS regulations and hands‑on experience with the IRS portal.
• Genuine interest in fund taxation and a proactive approach.
