Financial Controller – Private Equity (Luxembourg)

About the role

You will join a leading European private equity firm’s Luxembourg team as a Financial Controller. Working in a small, dynamic group of five professionals, you will support the full investment lifecycle of Luxembourg SPVs, collaborating closely with investment teams, banks, lawyers and tax advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate acquisitions, refinancings, reorganisations, distributions and exits for Luxembourg SPVs.
• Manage fund flows, shareholder loans, banking relationships and liquidity.
• Liaise with deal teams, banks, lawyers, tax advisers and external service providers.
• Review legal documentation, board packs and transaction documents.
• Monitor AML/KYC, regulatory and tax compliance requirements.
• Review annual accounts and support financial reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in audit or fund services with exposure to private equity and Luxembourg SPVs.
• Knowledge of accounting, corporate governance, legal and KYC matters.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Proactive, agile and confident when dealing with multiple stakeholders.
