Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Marriott Hotel Alfa in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold dishes and standard menu items following recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, and manage food thawing and storage.
• Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, garnish, and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Communicate with the Chef about excess items, specials and out‑of‑stock menu items.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and coaching kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow safety, security and hygiene policies, report incidents and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• Fluent in French and English; Luxembourgish or German is a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in Luxembourg.
