Account Executive, Product Sales (BaaS)

About the role

This position is a high‑impact commercial role focused on driving adoption and growth of Banking‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS) solutions. Based in Luxembourg, the Account Executive will act as a trusted advisor for startups, SMBs and digital‑native businesses, helping them integrate issuing, capital and treasury products.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts within a defined territory.
• Design and execute proactive outbound and territory‑planning strategies to build a qualified pipeline.
• Lead high‑level commercial and technical discussions with executive stakeholders.
• Develop deep expertise in BaaS offerings and position them against competing solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing and technical teams to relay customer insights and influence product direction.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of go‑to‑market playbooks and scalable sales processes.
• Translate customer needs into actionable product and business improvements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of customer‑facing experience in technology, fintech or payments with a proven track record.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisory relationships with senior business and executive stakeholders.
• Success in managing complex, consultative sales cycles and negotiating bespoke commercial agreements.
• Strong collaboration skills across internal functions and external partners.
• Highly self‑driven, proactive and comfortable operating independently in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
• Analytical mindset capable of understanding technical requirements and designing tailored solutions.
• Experience in payments or banking solutions sales is a strong advantage.
