Senior Windows System Engineer – Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Windows System Engineer who will also serve as Technical Coordinator. The position blends deep technical work on Windows Server platforms with the coordination of mini‑projects and cross‑team initiatives in a high‑availability, security‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and lead mini‑projects, ensuring delivery within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team covering Windows, VMware, third‑party applications, security, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Improve, stabilize and automate Windows infrastructures.
• Handle Level 3 support tickets and provide expert resolution.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Transfer knowledge to Level 2 support teams.
• Coordinate technical work across multiple internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in critical environments such as the financial sector with high SLAs.
• Fluent in French and English; Luxembourgish is a plus.

• Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Microsoft technologies: Windows Failover Cluster, Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS.
• Microsoft security and cyber‑security best practices.
• Project coordination and technical project management.
• Bonus: VMware, Omnissa Horizon, DNS, Webproxy, Firewall, Load Balancing, Banking applications, MS Project.
