Senior Windows System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer to join our Luxembourg team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and evolving our Windows Server infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and evolve Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, and newer).
• Own medium‑complexity technical workstreams within infrastructure projects.
• Administer Microsoft services such as Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS, and Windows Failover Clustering.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices to harden Microsoft infrastructures.
• Optimize performance, availability, and reliability of system platforms.
• Handle Level 3 incidents, ensuring resolution within defined service levels.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to Level 2 support teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of Windows system administration experience in demanding IT environments.
• Strong expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and recent versions.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience coordinating technical projects across multiple teams.
• Fluency in English and French; Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities.
