Coordinateur Technique – Senior Windows System Engineer

About the role

We are strengthening the technical coordination team of a Luxembourg banking institution. The Senior Windows System Engineer will work on critical, high‑availability Windows Server environments, ensuring security, performance, compliance and strict SLA adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and lead mini‑projects related to Windows, VMware, third‑party applications and security.
• Improve, stabilize and automate Windows Server systems.
• Handle Level 3 tickets, perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex incidents.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and transfer knowledge to Level 2 teams.
• Coordinate work across multiple teams when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience, preferably in a high‑pressure financial environment.
• Strong autonomy, initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in French and English; Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Flexibility to work between 07:00‑19:00 with core presence from 09:00‑16:00; limited remote work possible.

Required skills

• Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) administration.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Microsoft technologies: Failover Cluster, Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS.
• Microsoft security and cyber‑security best practices.
• VMware and Omnissa Horizon.
• Network services: DNS, Web‑proxy, Firewall, Load Balancing.
• MS Project for project coordination.
