Chief of Branch – Operational Energy Support

About the role

The Chief of Branch – Operational Energy Support leads the logistic management of fuel and petroleum resources for deployed operations. This senior position reports to the Agency’s supervisory board and may require deployment to remote or theatre locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all petroleum logistics activities, ensuring availability of POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants) for operational units.
• Oversee resource management related to fuel procurement, storage, and distribution.
• Apply project management methods and tools to plan, monitor, and deliver logistics projects on time and within budget.
• Lead contracting processes, negotiate with suppliers, and supervise contractor performance.
• Provide expert advice on military support requirements in deployed environments.

Required profile

• University degree in business administration, management, public administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of senior‑level logistic management experience, preferably in the fuel domain.
• Demonstrated expertise in petroleum resource management and contract administration.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
