Vice President – Head of Finance (Luxembourg)

About the role

The Vice President – Head of Finance will lead finance execution and accounting oversight for a global investment firm’s Luxembourg platform. Reporting to the Head of the Luxembourg Platform, the role ensures that investment and corporate transactions are implemented accurately, with strong governance and control across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the finance and transaction execution framework for the Luxembourg platform.
• Coordinate ownership and accountability across fund, SPV, and corporate structures.
• Act as the primary control point for transaction execution, ensuring compliance with legal agreements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with investment, tax, legal, and global finance teams to support correct financial and operational implementation of transactions.
• Drive process standardisation, efficiency, and quality across accounting and execution activities.
• Oversee financial execution of acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, capital activities, and structural changes.
• Review and approve key accounting entries, inter‑company transactions, and capital movements.
• Supervise external service providers such as fund administrators and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain alignment of accounting records at fund, entity, and corporate levels and support investor reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within investment or asset‑management environments.
• Proven track record of managing complex accounting structures and multi‑entity transactions.
• Strong understanding of legal documentation, tax structuring, and internal governance requirements.
• Ability to lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.
