Validation Test Technician – Electrical & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a Validation Test Technician to join a global leader in sustainable mobility. The role involves setting up, executing, and monitoring electrical and mechanical validation tests in a high‑tech, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, execute, and follow‑up on validation test setups (electrical & mechanical).
• Operate and manage test systems such as load racks, high‑voltage racks, chillers, harnesses and fixtures.
• Support equipment planning, calibration, and maintenance activities.
• Use automated monitoring tools to ensure test compliance and reliability.
• Apply and continuously improve safety rules and laboratory standards.
• Collect, manage, and document raw test data accurately.
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation equipment and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with test equipment such as climatic chambers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and signal generators.
• Good understanding of industrial electrical standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent English; additional French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Electrical test equipment operation (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, signal generator).
• Mechanical test setup and handling of load racks, high‑voltage racks, chillers.
• Use of automated monitoring and data acquisition tools.
• Equipment calibration and maintenance.
