Product Assurance Engineer

About the role

Join a pioneering lunar exploration project and support the assurance of rover development, production, integration, and verification activities. You will ensure that deliverables, supplier outputs, inspection records and non‑conformances meet the required quality and product‑assurance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement product and quality assurance throughout the rover lifecycle and develop PA/QA plans.
• Support manufacturing and inspection activities, review supplier declarations, and handle non‑conformances.
• Participate in design, engineering, AIT and manufacturing reviews to verify compliance with safety and reliability standards.
• Conduct audits and inspections, lead resolution of internal non‑conformances, and promote a quality culture.
• Engage in risk and change‑management meetings and verify test configurations during campaigns.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in a scientific or technical discipline with 3‑5 years of quality engineering experience in a space environment.
• Familiarity with ECSS product‑assurance standards and EN 9100, and practical experience applying quality requirements to space hardware, software or AIT.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with engineering, project, supplier and customer stakeholders.
• Rigorous, detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical skills to identify risks and drive improvements.
