Trainee in Asset Management, Risk, Compliance or Legal

About the role

We are looking for a motivated trainee to support our Asset Management, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams at Global Funds Management (GFM) in Luxembourg. The position lasts six months and is based on a school/university convention.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and reviewing control, performance and ad‑hoc reports.
• Support daily operations such as market and fund data collection, daily controls and preparation of management approvals.
• Help organise board, management and investment committee meetings.
• Support risk‑management and compliance functions, including the Compliance Monitoring Plan and related controls.
• Assist in AML/KYC processes and other compliance‑related controls.
• Review and update investment‑fund procedures, operations manuals and guidelines.
• Participate in project work and attend relevant meetings.

Required profile

• Master‑level studies in Finance or Law with a school/university convention.
• Knowledge of asset management, compliance or investment funds is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team player with enthusiasm.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
