Technical Writer (UAV R&D & Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, structured, and compliant documentation for our UAV research, development and manufacturing processes. The role supports engineers, technicians and production staff by translating technical input into usable procedures and work instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, structure and maintain technical procedures, work instructions and SOPs.
• Translate technical information into clear, consistent English documentation.
• Apply document‑control standards such as versioning, traceability and approvals.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, production and test teams to gather accurate process details.
• Observe activities and clarify ambiguous steps with subject‑matter experts.
• Align documentation with internal quality systems and aviation/manufacturing regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives through updated documentation.
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing procedures and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational background (e.g., technician training or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• Proven experience writing or maintaining technical documentation, procedures or work instructions.
• Ability to understand scientific and technical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process‑oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in hands‑on R&D and production environments.
