Technical Purchaser

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Purchaser to manage the sourcing of standard and special technical components. You will work closely with the design department to translate technical requirements into clear specifications and ensure reliable supply for our engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify technical issues and develop requirement profiles in cooperation with the design team.
• Obtain quotations, conduct benchmarks, and prepare decision‑making models.
• Organise and lead supplier meetings.
• Plan and implement engineering change projects.
• Support component standardisation and manage identical parts.
• Handle complaints and support strategic purchasing initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed technical studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• Fast technical comprehension and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in German or French and very good English.
• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on attitude with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of mechanics, dynamics, electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
