Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to independently lead mechanical design studies, create and optimise technical structures, and support the development of innovative products and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct autonomous mechanical design studies, including creation, adaptation, and optimisation of specific technical structures.
• Develop technical solutions that incorporate required dimensioning and strength calculations.
• Participate actively in the development of new products or innovative systems.
• Prepare technical documentation such as calculation notes, study reports, and associated dossiers.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and industrialisation teams to ensure project coherence.
• Contribute to the harmonisation and standardisation of components or technical solutions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with a focus on mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of general mechanics and material strength.
• Experience performing structural calculations.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical problems.
• Good command of English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
• Initiative, pragmatic approach, result‑oriented mindset.
• Team‑player with strong interpersonal skills.
