Tax & Regulatory Reporting Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Tax & Regulatory Reporting Officer to join Moventum’s financial services team. The role ensures accurate tax and regulatory reporting for our clients and supports continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial information and transaction data to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit periodic regulatory and tax reports, including FATCA, CRS, QI, and KEST obligations.
• Manage quarterly client mailings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely communication.
• Conduct due‑diligence and controls related to MiFID II, MiFIR, ex‑post costs & charges, and threshold reporting.
• Produce and distribute transaction confirmations, client reports, and year‑end statements.
• Support regulatory and operational projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient financial and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor changes in tax and regulatory requirements and help implement necessary updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, efficiency, and controls.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, tax reporting, or financial operations within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of FATCA, CRS, QI, KEST, MiFID II, and MiFIR reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Good organisational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting systems.
