Tax Officer

About the role

Utmost International is seeking a Tax Officer to support the operational tax reporting obligations of its Luxembourg entity. You will work closely with business units and wealth‑structuring experts to ensure accurate and timely tax filings for the company’s life‑insurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up global tax reporting obligations related to the life‑insurance business.
• Collaborate with other units to prepare and submit tax reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain communication with the network of fiscal representatives and monitor their activities regularly.
• Support governance of tax reporting obligations together with wealth‑structuring experts.
• Provide advice, guidance and recommendations on tax reporting processes, potential developments and related issues.
• Participate in, and occasionally coordinate, projects aimed at improving internal tax reporting processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related field, preferably with a tax specialization.
• 3‑5 years of experience in operational tax or tax reporting, ideally within a Big 4 or similar firm.
• Ability to work on cross‑border tax topics and handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills and resilience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional French or German is a plus.
