System Architect – Identity & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a System Architect to support an EU institution’s IT infrastructure, based in Luxembourg. The role will focus on designing, implementing and maintaining core services such as identity management, server platforms and virtualization environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Active Directory environments and related Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
• Configure and maintain GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS and develop PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Lead migration projects from legacy systems to the Quest migration tool.
• Build and operate acceptance environments that mirror production systems.
• Administer Windows Server 2016, Hyper‑V clusters and VMware virtualisation platforms.
• Provide support for network login and authentication across delegations.
• Perform troubleshooting, monitoring and operational support across multiple infrastructure domains, including Linux servers.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Active Directory and IAM concepts.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies.
• Hands‑on expertise in scripting with PowerShell.
• Ability to work on cross‑functional teams and manage complex migration initiatives.
