Supervisor Legal

About the role

The Supervisor Legal will oversee a portfolio of Luxembourg‑based financial entities, primarily securitisation vehicles, across sectors such as private credit, structured finance, cross‑border financing and aviation. Reporting to the Team Leader Legal, the role combines client interaction, regulatory compliance and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review service agreements, corporate documents and complex transaction contracts.
• Supervise the full lifecycle of client entities from incorporation through to liquidation.
• Coordinate with notaries, law firms, credit institutions and auditors during incorporation and deal structuring.
• Ensure strict implementation of AML regulations and internal compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with internal accounting, tax and regulatory teams.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and business partners.
• Act as manager/director of client entities and represent the Capital Markets Legal Team in client calls and events.
• Coach and supervise junior team members, fostering quality and responsiveness.

Required profile

• University degree in Law (Civil or Common Law).
• Minimum 6 years of practical experience in civil, commercial or financial law.
• Sound knowledge of contractual, company and financial law in Common Law or Civil‑Law jurisdictions.
• Basic understanding of the regulatory framework for Luxembourg‑based financial companies.
• Excellent written and oral English; French is an asset, German highly appreciated.
• Client‑focused, detail‑oriented, able to work independently and under pressure.
