Senior Associate - Legal Counsel

About the role

EY Luxembourg is hiring a Senior Associate - Legal Counsel to join its General Counsel's Office, the internal in-house legal department. You will work on a wide range of legal topics and advise the firm's partners and staff from the Audit, Tax and Consulting service lines, as well as the business lines they support.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, structure and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients (master services agreements, general terms and conditions) and suppliers (procurement, IT contracts, partnership or alliance agreements, subcontracts).
• Provide legal advice on civil law, new technology law, intellectual property rights, data protection/GDPR and commercial law to partners and staff.
• Occasionally assist the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel on other legal matters.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business/Company Law or Contract Law.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar environment or in a law firm handling contractual matters.
• Thorough knowledge of Luxembourg law and regulations.
• Fluent English and at least A2+ French; other languages such as German are an asset but not required.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, and strong organisational, multitasking and prioritisation skills.
