Supervisor General Procurement Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor General Procurement Operations to lead and support the Procurement Operations department in Luxembourg. The role combines hands‑on operational management with team coordination, ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement across all procurement functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and back‑up the Procurement Operations leadership, overseeing daily business tasks and business continuity.
• Coordinate team activities, office coverage, talent review, and development plans.
• Act as first point of escalation for operational issues and manage workload distribution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on Source‑to‑Contract (S2C) and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes.
• Manage supplier onboarding and lifecycle activities.
• Monitor KPIs, identify improvement areas, and report insights to management.
• Maintain and enhance documentation of departmental processes and procedures.
• Support AI‑related automation and process‑optimization projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply‑Chain.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience covering both processes and systems.
• Proven people‑management or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a multicultural team.
• Fluent English; French, German or Luxembourgish a plus.
• Motivated, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
