About the role

The position is responsible for operating and maintaining the common transport model used by the State and the City of Luxembourg. The role involves daily model management, conducting specific studies on road traffic, public transport and soft mobility, and supporting project planning and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the transport model on a daily basis and conduct specific traffic, public transport and soft‑mobility studies.
• Plan and monitor projects in collaboration with partner organisations.
• Develop and model variants and scenarios together with the Transport Model Cell (CMT) team.
• Analyse simulation results and produce related documentation and presentations.
• Collect, process and implement data to continuously update the transport model, including calibration and plausibility checks.
• Contribute to the development of custom solutions for specific problems.
• Handle technical and administrative tasks for CMT dossiers, including correspondence, meeting organisation, minutes, quality control and financial management.
• Prepare budgets, track expenditures and organise the CMT work plan and study coordination.

Required profile

• Experience in transport modelling, data collection and analysis.
• Ability to coordinate projects with external partners and internal teams.
• Strong organisational skills for managing technical and administrative dossiers.
• Experience in budgeting and financial follow‑up for projects.
