Solution Architect – Assistant Director, Digital Factory

About the role

EY is looking for a Solution Architect at the Assistant Director level to lead the design of end‑to‑end technical solutions within its Digital Factory. You will translate business needs into robust, scalable architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into comprehensive technical solution designs.
• Define integration points, data flows, and system interactions to ensure efficiency and interoperability.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other architects to align designs with business objectives and technical standards.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise and cloud architecture standards.
• Document architecture decisions, technical rationale, and solution details.
• Support effort estimation and feasibility assessments for new initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership to implementation teams and resolve delivery blockers.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to solution quality, reliability, and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on digital transformation or software development projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms and integration patterns.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience with architectural documentation and modeling tools.
