ServiceNow Technical Consultant

About the role

Devoteam, an AI-driven tech consulting firm with nearly 30 years of tech-native expertise, is hiring a ServiceNow Technical Consultant in Luxembourg. You will design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions that turn business requirements into robust, scalable technical configurations, applying best practices to choose when to use out-of-the-box features and when customisation is needed. You also mentor junior team members and flag risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions according to business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable technical configurations and detailed technical designs
• Customise the platform when required, following ServiceNow best practices and coding standards
• Develop integrations with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, file-based transfers)
• Deliver well-documented, thoroughly tested customisations, including unit testing
• Mentor and guide junior team members on technical and functional topics
• Identify risks, dependencies or improvement opportunities within your scope of work
• Support platform upgrades and ongoing application maintenance

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow configuration and development
• Fluent in French and English
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
• Nice to have: Service Portal, Employee Center and Agent Workspace experience; greenfield implementation experience; middleware integrations (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Kafka); AI on ServiceNow (Now Assist, Control Tower)

Required skills

• ServiceNow administration, App Engine and customisation practices
• JavaScript, Glide API, business rules, script includes and UI policies
• Unit testing and structured testing approaches
• Flow Designer, Workflow Studio (including the legacy Workflow Editor), IntegrationHub, CMDB design and Discovery, Workspace configuration
• Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
