Senior Integration Engineer

About the role

Netcompany, a digitalisation company with over 8,900 professionals across Europe serving EU institutions and public and private organisations, is hiring a Senior Integration Engineer in Luxembourg. The role centres on enterprise integration solutions, API design and management, and integration platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain enterprise integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business requirements.
• Design and manage APIs, including REST APIs, SOAP web services, API lifecycle, versioning, publishing, monitoring and retirement.
• Work with integration platforms, middleware, orchestration, data transformation, message routing and protocol mediation.
• Develop in Java, using Spring Boot, Apache Camel, microservices and reusable integration components.
• Apply DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and support integration solutions in production, including incident management, performance optimisation, resiliency and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical documentation and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience supporting integration solutions in production environments.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure, Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel or similar integration frameworks.
• REST APIs and API design, databases and data access technologies.
• SAP web services, CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Microservices and distributed architectures, enterprise integration patterns.
• An asset: API management platforms, Apache Kafka, event-driven architectures, enterprise messaging and observability tools.
