Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Netcompany, a digitalisation company with over 8,900 professionals across Europe serving EU institutions and public and private organisations, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst in Luxembourg. The role leads end-to-end data-warehouse and reporting projects and delivers interactive dashboards and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end data-warehouse and reporting projects using multi-dimensional models and advanced context manipulation.
• Extract, combine and transform data across BusinessObjects universes, SQL databases and flat files.
• Design KPIs and interactive dashboards that give actionable business insights.
• Set up automated publishing, scheduling and distribution of recurring reports.
• Process and visually map geo-enabled datasets for spatial reporting.
• Prepare training content and run training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
• Draft user manuals, FAQs and operational documentation in clear English.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouse models based on Inmon principles on platforms such as Oracle and Sybase IQ.
• Track record of interactive dashboards and enterprise reports with SAP Business Objects (Designer and Web Intelligence), Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or Plotly Dash.
• Strong SQL querying and hands-on experience building and optimising data pipelines and ETL processes with tools such as IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Apache Spark or Talend.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and scripting languages such as Python.
• Functional knowledge of banking and fund management.
• Excellent English (C1+); another EU language is a plus.
