Senior Tax Manager – Luxembourg

About the role

As part of Allianz Investment Management’s growth journey, we are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our tax department in Luxembourg. You will provide expert tax advice on investment transactions across alternative asset classes and support the implementation of new tax compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise local teams and Group Tax on Luxembourg corporate tax and VAT matters related to private debt, real estate, infrastructure and renewable investments.
• Coordinate the preparation of tax provisions, tax computations and review compliance obligations for Luxembourg entities within Pillar 2 scope.
• Lead Pillar 2 and Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) discussions with Group Tax, global tax functions, accounting teams and service providers.
• Support the Head of Tax in strengthening internal compliance processes and anticipating Pillar 2 impacts.
• Develop automated processes for managing tax obligations.
• Interact with statutory auditors and tax administrations, ensuring robust corporate governance.

Required profile

• University degree in Tax, Finance, Law or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of tax experience in Luxembourg.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate tax law and compliance obligations.
• Good understanding of Pillar 2 and CbCR.
• Fluent in English; German or French is an asset.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
