Senior Tax Compliance Officer – Work Closely With Management

About the role

We are supporting a long‑established Luxembourg fiduciary in hiring a Senior Tax Compliance Officer. The role is based in a modern office near Luxembourg City centre and offers a blend of onsite and hybrid work. You will act as a technical reference for the tax team, ensuring high‑quality tax filings and advising on complex structures.

Key responsibilities

• Review corporate tax and VAT returns prepared by accounting teams for compliance with Luxembourg legislation.
• Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters, especially for SOPARFIs, holdings and other financial entities.
• Collaborate with the Head of Tax on challenging client files, tax analyses and best‑practice implementation.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on clients and internal procedures.
• Assist in preparing tax advice and resolving intricate tax issues.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and external stakeholders as required.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in Luxembourg taxation, preferably within a fiduciary or corporate service provider.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate tax, VAT and transfer‑pricing rules.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a significant advantage.
• Proven ability to review work of others, identify technical issues and provide constructive feedback.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
