Senior Strategic Project Manager – Luxembourg (Relocation)

About the role

As a Senior Strategic Project Manager in the CEO Office, you will drive cross‑functional initiatives across Luxembourg and Milan, acting as the bridge between executive leadership and operational, regulatory, product and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex business challenges by developing data‑backed, user‑first solutions.
• Manage relationships with C‑level stakeholders and act as a strategic partner for leadership.
• Influence major decisions through in‑depth analysis and insights, integrating diverse perspectives.
• Champion methodology and best‑practice frameworks, ensuring a consistent user‑first approach.
• Lead regulatory requirement integration into project road‑maps, partnering with Legal, Compliance and Risk.
• Govern and monitor multi‑hub projects, establishing governance, tracking milestones and removing bottlenecks.
• Anchor Luxembourg operational synergies, ensuring governance requirements align with group strategy and product velocity.

Required profile

• Minimum 6–7 years of hands‑on experience in a regulated environment, preferably high‑growth fintech or EMI/banking.
• Deep familiarity with compliance, legal and regulatory matters (PSD2/PSD3, AML/CFT, GDPR).
• Proven track record of managing complex, end‑to‑end multi‑stakeholder initiatives using structured project‑management frameworks.
• High‑level understanding of fintech and EMI licensing dynamics across Europe.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus and align priorities across distributed international offices.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills for synthesising technical and regulatory concepts.
• Willingness to be based in Luxembourg and travel frequently to Milan.
• Fluent English; Italian is a strong asset.
