Senior SAP Solution Architect – Public Sector

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Solution Architect to help public‑sector customers design, migrate and modernise their SAP landscapes on AWS. You will work across government, defence and regulated industries, partnering with SAP Public Sector, systems integrators and internal AWS teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect SAP solutions on AWS aligned with public‑sector mission outcomes.
• Collaborate with SAP, systems integrators and AWS teams to deliver joint solutions for government agencies.
• Provide technical leadership across pre‑sales, implementation, migration and optimisation phases.
• Lead architecture reviews, solution design and technical strategy for SAP workloads such as RISE with SAP, S/4HANA Cloud, BTP and SAP AI services.
• Build executive and technical relationships with CIOs/CTOs, mission owners and partner leadership.
• Support RFPs/RFIs, workshops, presentations and capture efforts.
• Mentor junior architects and promote best practices for SAP on AWS in regulated environments.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in IT development, implementation or consulting within the software or internet industries.
• Proven expertise designing and delivering SAP solutions on cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of public‑sector regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with senior government stakeholders.
