Senior Project Manager & Business Analyst – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst to join a major financial institution in Luxembourg. The role will drive a strategic transformation programme covering fund reporting, middle‑office processes, data management and reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, overseeing communication and delivery.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Support the evolution of fund reporting and repository solutions through detailed analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce data duplication and improve data governance.
• Design and develop business and management reports, KPI dashboards and project progress reporting.
• Perform impact assessments for new system implementations and process changes.
• Assess data quality, support testing activities and coordinate enhancements, defects and releases with IT teams.
• Maintain project documentation, data glossaries, user guides, business cases and test artefacts.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the investment fund industry, fund structures, NAV calculations and related financial products.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or hybrid role within banking, asset management or fund administration.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, process and data modelling (UML, ARIS, ERM).
• Experience delivering data migration and reporting projects.
• Project‑management certification (PMI, PRINCE2) is a plus.
