Senior Legal Counsel – Aviation & Corporate Law

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to our business operations in Luxembourg. The role involves advising on a wide range of legal matters, particularly in aviation, corporate, commercial and regulatory fields, and contributing to the development of effective legal strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to business units and company representatives across aviation law, M&A, corporate and commercial law, labour law, competition, international trade, state aid, public tender, IP, IT, environmental and EU CO2 emission regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, financing documents and other legal agreements.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could affect the business and advise accordingly.
• Support the Head of Legal and the legal team on projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal departments, subsidiaries and external stakeholders to deliver strategic legal solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in law.
• Knowledge of air law regulations, commercial and competition law, and environmental law is a plus.
• Trustworthy, honest, business‑oriented and aligned with company values.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with all management levels and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented with good judgment and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• General understanding of IT infrastructure.
