Senior Legal Counsel – Asset Management (London/Luxembourg)

About the role

Our client, a leading European asset manager, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its European Legal team. The role can be based in London or Luxembourg and will support a wide range of investment fund activities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and update fund documentation, including prospectuses, constitutional and contractual documents.
• Establish and restructure investment vehicles.
• Liaise with regulators such as the CSSF and AMF.
• Negotiate agreements with counterparties and investment managers.
• Provide legal support to fund boards, distribution activities, and strategic business projects.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in Luxembourg or France.
• Minimum five years of experience in a leading law firm, asset manager, or management company.
• Strong expertise in UCITS and AIFs.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Commercially minded and ambitious.
